Hey all ye bored enough to read my journal...er... I mean, beloved fans

You may (or may not, either way) have noticed that I've not uploaded anything in pretty much forever. I feel your pain. No, really. Sometimes not being able to write gives me a sort of physical echo of discomfort. I crave the liberation of writing it all down. I blame exhaustion due to work (but I quit a week ago, so maybe...), lack of muse and a general tiredness in all aspects. I really hope to get back into the literary saddle soon; it does good things for my mood and well-being.

So again, for those of you who enjoy reading my stuff, I'm sorry. I swear I'll try fix me as fast as I can.

Goddamn capitalists; stealing my soul in return for money. I guess its not too bad, there are perks, but the down-side is I'm always tired, cranky, exhausted or all of the above. Which means summer is not quite what it used to be.

You may have noticed I've taken up writing short stories of.... *ahem* questionable content. I feel I must explain; sometimes when my muse (a small, furry flying thing that hovers around my head) goes off to bother someone else, I'm left high and dry. This usually happens when I most need the therapeutic activity of bashing a couple of words around on a .doc.
So my friends, as supportive as ever, become my muse temporarily. Besides being surprised on a few occasions by the material suggested, I feel I've actually learnt more about my style and technique as well as about the dubious fantasies of my dearest buddies.

The point of my little rant is to say that I'm currently hunting for someone professional to give me advice on possible publication. Not that I don't love the comments and suggestions you guys here give, but I'd never get a book/anthology deal on here now, will I? So if anyone has any maltese contacts that would be useful in that way, please let me know.
